Do you design and build lofts and extensions catering to all types of residential property?

Yes. Whether the property is terraced, semi detached, detached, or in a conservation area, we can design and build an extension or loft solution that will maximise usage of the available space to meet your requirements, subject to planning and space restrictions.

Will I need planning permission? If so, can you assist me?

It is important to know that each case is different, and will depend on your area and property type. We will determine what legislation is relevant for your proposal.

In any event, there is no need to worry. Our pragmatic approach means we will design your proposal keeping in mind your requirements and the parameters imposed by the applicable legislation, always with the sole aim of maximising your chances of success in gaining approval.

What about dealing with building regulations?

We will assure the designs demonstrate full compliance with the latest building regulations, where applicable.

How long will it take to complete my project?

The construction time for extensions varies in accordance with the size and finish. Generally, for a single storey side or rear extension, up to a builder's finish (with no internal finishing), work will take approximately 6-8 weeks. Add 4 weeks to this to complete the interior with kitchen installation, tiling, and decorations.

The construction time for loft conversions varies in accordance with the size and finish. Generally, for dormer window or mansard on a terraced property, up to a builder's finish (with no internal finishing), work will take approximately 6-8 weeks. For a hip to gable conversion on an end terrace propoerty, work will take approximately 8-10 weeks. Add 4 weeks to these times to complete the interior finishes.

Can we see an extension or loft you've already completed?

Yes. We will be more than happy for you to visit one of our sites.

Are your works guaranteed?

Yes. Upon completion of the work, you will be given a 2 year workmanship guarantee. As members of the federation of master builders we abide and follow by their guidelines, and have been vetted accordingly.
